If you followed the news from the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show you probably heard Samsung’s CEO BK Yoo announce his commitment to creating interconnected devices; stating that by 2017, almost all of Samsung products will be optimized with smart home technology.
Yoo is proving his commitment to the internet of things by making great strides toward investing in smart home technology through the purchase of SmartThings, a maker of wireless smart-home kits. Following this acquisition, SmartThings has joined the Z-Wave Alliance Board of Directors.
