In the past few months I had the opportunity to test completely NEW HOME CENTRE.
It’s been a secret project but I hope you will enjoy to here about the initial results.
I have to admit that I’m absolutely amazed with the possibilities and technical specification.
Here is a list of key NEW features that are included in the box:
- 3 layer architecture (Advanced OS, Z-wave layer, Control Application layer)
- OS support for optional VPN, WEB, WIKI, e-mail Server etc
- z-wave layer support: SUC/SIS/Primary/secondary, Z-Wave Plus, SDK 5.0, optimised transmitting queue handling, remote firmware updatable

To use this NEW Home Centre you would need to install the newest Application version 6 (actually 6.020)
Have tested the software with over 100 nodes and I’m surprised with reach functionality and stability.
Here is a first info about NEW software for a NEW HOME CENTRE.
Version 6 mainly added better support and integration of more devices (not only z-wave devices).
Important part of software responsible for management z-wave devices was rebuild from the scratch for better support different devices types.
This version has also drastically improved stability of the system.
NEW HOME CENTRE Application introduces support for advanced plugins. Plugins give support for new devices and new functionalities without modifying Firmware. Plugins can be used for controlling devices via different protocols and standards. Plugins have their own user interface and can call all APIs available on HC.
Possibility of installing plugins developed by independent developers IS AVAILABLE NOW.
